In conjunction with the EU's Safer Internet Day, Liberty Global's German cable operator Unitymedia starts the distribution and marketing of Magic Desktop to all its broadband subscribers. Unitymedia serves 4.5 million cable customers in the states of Northrhine-Westphalia and Hesse (see www.unitymedia.de/produkte/internet/magic-desktop.html for more details).
